When I designed my house, I wanted it to look like a fine art museum...
Even when I was earning money as an employee and being somebody's full-time mama, I bought art. I have been lucky to spend significant stretches of time in New York City, where even living is an art, but really, where art is mandatory. There are galleries everywhere. You can't get on a train, in a cab or go to a cafe without meeting someone who is willing to say, " I'm an artist". It's not like this everywhere, but the world might be better off it was.
